Items of Interest

A painting of Janet's was chosen to be given as the "Richard Wendt Award" for artistic service in Snohomish County.

Janet was selected to paint the poster for the 2010 “Fresh Paint” Art Festival at Everett Marina.

Janet Hamilton was recently published in the "Best of Worldwide Artists Working in Charcoal, Pastel and Pencil" and her painting was on the cover. www.bestofartists.com/best-of-books.

Two of Janet’s paintings will be included in the publication BEST OF AMERICA - PASTEL ARTISTS VOL. II!

Janet Hamilton’s painting "Art Cafe" won the Jack Richeson Award in the Northwest Pastel Society’s International Juried Show 2009.

Janet recently won the Eastside Association of Fine Arts Award for her piece "Island Concerto" in the Northwest Pastel Society’s International Juried Show.

Two of her recent paintings were bought by the Duke of Abercorn in Northern Ireland.

Janet’s painting of the Mayor of Everett’s house was used on the poster for the “Historic Everett” tour.
